As part of our fundraising effort for the Children's Ark Unit at the Regional Hospital and the CARI Foundation through Limerick Live 95FM the children are hosting a “Fun-Fair” for each other on this coming Friday September 30th.  They have worked together in small groups to devise games and challenges which they will charge each other to take part in on the day.  Charges will vary between 10c to 20c per go, so a couple of euro should suffice.  We also continue to collect small change in our Welly for “Welly Wednesday”

The children will receive a road safety presentation from a representative of the Road Safety Authority on Friday 7th October which will tackle all elements of road safety including walking, cycling, travel by public transport, being a passenger, urban and rural transport issues and the practising of safe road behaviour.

Set Dancing and Seanós Dancing continues on Mondays and IT classes  every Tuesday, from 2.40-3.30pm.

PE will take place on Fridays.  Please ensure that your child wears a navy tracksuit bottoms/ trousers and runners.

We will celebrate Tree Day on Thursday next October 6th by planting a Rowan Tree.  This will be planted by John McCarthy on the school grounds

We have entered the Cumann na mBunscoil 7-aside Football which will take place Friday 7th October in the GAA field at 1pm.

Follow the link to watch the music video that the children made in June 2015 as part of our contribution to Kilteely's entry in the 'Pride of Place' competition.
