As part of our Green Schools Programme, our classroom was given the responsibility for organising a "Scoot at School" lesson for the other classes. This involved planning what we wanted to teach them about scooters, planning our lesson, sourcing the equipment we needed, planning where we would do each activity and teaching Mrs. Collins' and Mrs O' Loughlin's classes how to scoot.
We had great fun. Our lessons involved:
- health and safety
- how to scoot
- how to stop and emergency stop
- maze
- cones
- traffic light game
Everyone had a great day and the weather was fantastic!
